This was a mobile job for a trade client of ours , using CMD we obtained a full Virtual read of the EDc17C64 ecu, after a fair bit of tweaking the map was recalibrated to include DPF and EGR off, this was unfortunately a client who bought the car not knowing the DPF was removed, using VCDS we did a full data scan to check Actual and Nominal values, as on the CUPA engine you cannot see the DPF filter so real time data was used to give us a clear picture of what had happened.

Car is booked in with the dealer he purchased it from for a new DPF filter to be installed and then we will tweak the map to allows full regeneration to happen.

Being a DSG we also wound the torque down deliberately on this vehicle.

With all mapping done we left this car with no smoke and no more limp mode and a very happy customer.
