Stage 2 with Turbo Back System

Datalogging backs up all figures ?

We’ve been chatting to Dan for a while now and it was a great car to be involved with.

Low mileage, well maintained and packing 272bhp in standard form the TTS is a real drivers car, marry that engine to a DSG box and Quattro drive train and it ticks all the boxes for some real fun.

This was a team effort as the car also had a full turbo back system installed, the rear box had been fitted before it came in and we had to do the down pipe and hi flow cat.

The exhaust required modifying and extending so Simon got on the welder to do his bit whilst Robbie carried on with the mechanical side.

Once the exhaust was done we test drove her and the sound is incredible, we planned on mapping in pops and bangs but whilst doing the datalogging done it was popping and banging everywhere with a standard map.

Datalogging done it was onto software, and man this thing is fast, seriously fast and I think we woke everyone up in #portsmouth .

Mapped using CMD the Med9.1 ECU is a very long read and write time so voltage is key, kept steady this ECU took a total is 50 minutes to read and write and that’s excluding the time to build the file.

Stage 1 was done first then we built up to stage 2 keeping and eye on all values using V Scope and VCDS.

First test and wow, the DSG crackle between gear changes sounds evil, boost comes in nice and early holds perfectly throughout the whole rev range.

Dan collected his Audi and actually over shot the exit of the yard when leaving ?….

We checked in to see how he was getting on and he’s over the moon.
