Andrew booked a mobile appointment for his T5 being a ME9 ECU we knew there was a chance this was an ECU out job , it’s an easy removal so took a few minutes , the programming pads are on the rear side of the board so you need to do a board flip which is inherently risky so I chose to go the old school route , carrying multiple Tricore Pins means we can use more than the usual 3 pin setup , this needed a steady hand to do and being the first ECU out job in the new van it was good to have a challenge.
